Often the self employed and contractors have found it difficult to obtain a loan since self certification loans and mortgages became a thing of the past. Now, there are lenders who are seeing things differently and who are more relaxed regarding their lending criteria.

Lenders realise that some people have had it hard and don't want to miss out on lending to those people who have got back on their feet in recent times. This situation applies to a lot of people and lenders are starting to realise this. If they wish to increase their lending then they are going to have to accommodate this market place.
